What is the difference between taking a defensive driving course online and taking it in a classroom setting at a traffic safety school?

If you take a classroom style driving school you must in person, which means you have to travel to a specific location at a certain time and sit there all day until the class is finished. An online driving school course, on the other hand, gives you the flexibility to “attend” the class anywhere you have Internet access, and fit it into your schedule, when it’s most convenient. You don’t have to complete the entire course in one sitting, either. You can log in and out whenever you wish, 24 hours a day, and you have 90 days to finish it.

Can I begin the course from one computer and resume from another?

You can switch from a desktop to a laptop computer, for example, and you can use
other Internet-connected devices too, such as smartphones and tablets. Each
time you log out, your progress will be saved so that when you log back in, you
can start right where you left off.

How long will it take to complete the entire online Defensive Driving / Traffic Safety School course?

Defensive Driving  / Traffic Safety School courses varies in length depending on the state. Though a typical course will last 4 to 6 hours. You will have access to the course for 90 days from registration. In order to
receive credit, you must complete it within this time period. If you do not,
